About Me (with contact information & curriculum vitae)

Short Biography:
Howdy, weary web traveler. My name is Jessica Olin and, in case you haven't already gathered this from the title and content of the blog, I'm a librarian. Specifically, I'm the library director at a small, liberal arts college in Delaware.

As for my past, I emerged from the incubator of my MLIS program into the wacky world of librarianship in 2003. My first professional position was at a tiny college in southern Vermont. While there I got a chance to try almost every aspect of academic librarianship. After that, I was in charge of instruction and outreach at the library at a slightly bigger college in Northeast Ohio. I was also lucky enough to have the opportunity to teach as an adjunct at the same school. More about that in a post I wrote a while ago.

Curriculum Vitae:
This is a cheat, but here is my LinkedIn profile.

If you have any questions about anything on my blog or want to write a guest post for me (I'm always looking for guest authors), you can contact me at librarianjessica @ gmail dot com.

And now, a gratuitous picture of my cat:

Holly Golightly in her natural state: yelling at me.
