Information overload. The 15 minute sessions that I attended were all good, but since I had never been there before, I didn't know they crammed three into one session. I didn't know the etiquette of coming and going, so sat in on some I didn't necessarily want to sit in on, but learned from them anyway. The poster sessions were CRAZY! And the vendors were pointless to me in this stage of my career, because I have no power to choose vendors, etc. and would have no idea what to say to them. I didn't know what workshops were, and if it was even ok for me to attend them, so I stuck to the 15 minute sessions and walking around.
