Your post will be so helpful to each one of them as they are tempted to be overwhelmed by the digital world. Thanks again! About three months into the school year, the library director (the only other librarian on staff) left for another job, and since then I've been unofficially in charge... mostly because there was no one else.

Since then, our entire platform (ILS/catalog/CMS) has slowly collapsed, and I haven't done much of anything that I was actually hired to do because I was just trying to keep the place up and running. And the whole while, I've been beating myself up because I've felt like I wasn't even doing a *good* job, much less the *amazing* job I had intended to do. (Seriously, I haven't gotten involved in even one single professional association.) My bosses seem completely satisfied, but I look at peers who are publishing and going to the conferences and whatnot, and I just think, where did it all go wrong?

So this is a welcome reassurance, and thank you for it.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14720182124565653611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4061870849031468581.post-76869448935742393872014-05-22T11:02:19.738-04:002014-05-22T11:02:19.738-04:00So happy to hear it, Kimberly! So happy to hear it, Kimberly!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02374234986516531798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4061870849031468581.post-88527341298844846722014-05-22T10:46:09.741-04:002014-05-22T10:46:09.741-04:00Wow!
